Moritz Hemsing receives the Rohde & Schwarz Award for the best bachelor’s degree in the field of Communication Technology, Data Technology, and Distributed Autonomous Systems. The award includes a prize of 1000 Euro. Mr. Hemsing wrote his bachelor’s thesis on the topic “Sparse Signal Recovery Using Model-Assisted Deep Learning” at the Communication Systems Group under the guidance of Lukas Schynol. The results of his thesis have already been published in the IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing and will be presented as a conference contribution at the European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO) 2025 in Sicily this September.
