Solver and Software
STELA
- STELA is a solver for sparsity regularized least square problems (LASSO).
- Its key features are best-response-based update direction and exact-line-search-based stepsize, both of which have closed-form expressions.
- It has several notable advantages, namely, fast convergence, easy implementation and excellent scalability.
- Theoretical analysis is presented here (opens in new tab) .
- Matlab code is available for academic uses here.
